DISLA is a cultural strategy and production studio supporting events and special projects for cultural institutions, mission-driven organizations, and purpose-led brands.
STUDIO APPROACH
DISLA is a strategy and production studio founded by Anais Disla Cabral, specializing in events and special projects for museums, cultural institutions, mission-driven organizations, and purpose-led brands.
We believe events are more than standalone moments. At their best, they are strategic tools that reflect an organization’s values, deepen audience connection, and move its mission forward. From major institutional milestones to intimate gatherings, DISLA brings together strategy, creative thinking, and precise execution to create work that feels considered, relevant, and true to its context.
ANAIS DISLA CABRAL
Anais Disla Cabral is a cultural event strategist and producer with 20 years of experience leading complex events, special projects, and event programs for some of the world’s most respected cultural institutions.
Her work spans major museum openings, galas, cultivation events, private celebrations, and revenue-generating programs. She has held senior leadership roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, and has supported major institutional moments including the reopening of the Studio Museum in Harlem.
At The Met, Anais became the first woman of color to lead production of the museum’s famed Met Gala. Her work has also been recognized by the industry, including being named a top planner for arts and cultural institutions in Bizbash's 2022 Top 40 Under 40.
Through DISLA, Anais brings that institutional experience to organizations and brands navigating moments that matter, combining strategic thinking, production leadership, and a deep understanding of how people experience culture.
